Top Ideal Places To See Amazing Rice Terraced In Northern Vietnam

Every year, from September to October, terraced fields in the northern mountainous provinces enter the season of ripe rice fields. Visitors from all over the place to Tu Le, Bac Son, Sa Pa ... 1. Tu Le, Yen Bai

In September, when the sunshine of the summer gave way to cool autumn sun, it is also the terraced fields in Tu Le step into the season of ripe rice. As a valley in Van Chan district, Yen Bai province, Tu Le is considered as the most beautiful terraced valley in the Northwest. Located on the famous Khau Pho Pass, Tu Le as a golden silk is made up of countless terraced fields in succession. 

The people here are mainly Thai, Mong people plant rice under the valley, right on the hills. After the water season, they began to cultivate rice. Thanks to the affection of nature and the hardworking and skillful hands of the Mong people, they created beautiful landscapes.

2. Bac Son, Lang Son

Bac Son is in the centre of limestone mountain, with the majestic beauty of mountains, clouds, and endless green rice fields. Its beauty has different shades of appearance in different times of the year. From the end of July to mid-November, it is said to have the nicest weather. Vast ripe rice fields in Bac Son had a graceful nature. A golden colour is everywhere while the clouds lazily flow over limestone mountain tops. The scene was so picturesque that we couldn’t take our eyes off it.

3. Sapa

Just like the northern mountainous provinces, Sapa stepped into the fall with the terraced fields on the Hoang Lien Mountains, seductive with each layer of yellow terraces hidden in clouds and sunny afternoon. 

The terraced fields in Ta Phin village, Lao Chai, Ban Ho, Trung Chai ... have hundreds of years been the hands of the Ha Nhi, Hmong, Dao care and cultivation. Every ripe rice season, travel enthusiasts and photographers come to Sapa to watch rice, drink wine specialties highland and mix in the beautiful nature painting.

4. Mu Cang Chai, YĆŖn Bai

One of the attractions tourists and photographers in the rice season is Mu Cang Chai town located under Hoang Lien Son mountain range with beautiful terraced fields. La Pan Tan and Che Du Cu Nha, the two communes with the most beautiful rice fields Mu Cang Chai cling to visitors by the yellow carpet of light was woven through the skillful hands of the Hmong people. Far away, children chasing each other on the road, the girls working on the cliff, laugh shyly when they see the camera lens. A picture of harmony between the beauty of man and nature, making visitors love Mu Cang Chai not only beautiful scenery but also the smile of the Hmong girls.

5. Hoang Su Phi, Ha Giang

The ripen rice season in Hoang Su Phi usually begins in late September, early October. Terraced fields appear in almost communes and towns in the district, but they most concentrate in Ban Luoc, Ban Phung, Thong Nguyen, Ho Thau, Nam Ty, San Sa Ho. Traveling to Hoang Su Phi, you will have chances to enjoy spectacular natural scenery, relax in the fresh air with mountains and the murmur of the streams and looking at thousands of hectares of ripen rice terrace fields spread across the valley, Hoang Su Phi is called the "magnificent work" of the local people.
