The splendid beauty of Dong Van is blossoming in buckwheat flower season lasting from October to November.

On the way to Ha Giang city, you can see 20km milestone next to city square which has a statue of Uncle Ho and ethnic minorities. Tourists usually stop here to take photos.

After 20km of smooth road, the next road is Cong Troi Quan Ba pass with a steep slope. Standing on Cong Troi Quan Ba, tourists will be hard to recognize rich Tam Son town stretching in the valley.

We also can see Hanh Phuc (Happy) road, the road from Quan Ban to the border is divided by Cong Troi. From the high view, you can see rice terraces.

Next to Hanh Phuc (Happy) road and far 14km from Dong Van town nowadays, Vuong house relic welcomes a lot of tourists to visit and explore the past of the place.

Ma Pi Leng pass is a 20km long dangerous road with the height of 1200m above sea water. The road passing Ma Pi Leng pass was made by volunteers in 11 months.

Villages of ethnic minorities in Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, Meo Vac are changed now. Locals grow buckwheat flowers in corn fields and on mountains.

In the year, Buckwheat flower festival is opened in 15th October making Dong Van town become more bustling. In the night, the ancient town is livelier with the visit of tourists and specialties of Dong Van, Ha Giang. Dong Van’s old quarter is lively in the festival.
