Nuoc Mooc stream - A place "Definitely have to go" again for this summer. Situated near the scenic Phong Nha - Ke Bang, Nuoc Nuoc springs have spectacular natural scenery along with diverse ecosystems, accompanied by fascinating experiences.
Located in Phuc Trach Commune, Bo Trach District, Nuoc Mooc Stream connects with Chay River which is about 10 kilometers long and flows through Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park.
Nuoc Mooc Stream has spectacular natural scenery as a fairyland with diverse ecosystems, accompanied by fascinating experiences. According to the local language here “Mooc” means “grow” that is to say water sprouting out from the earth’s worm, and the name shows a miracle thing in this tourist destination.
In the upper reaches of the stream the currents are gentler and form large pools studded with rocks. These pools are good for swimming but be careful of the rocks.
The stream winds around a tropical limestone forest, which is home to many species of birds, insects and animals and a rich biodiversity with seasoned trees, orchids, ferns and lianas. Travelers should prepare suitable clothes to stroll through the dense groves to explore the wildlife and wallow in the cool water.
After discovering the stream, tourists should take a kayak trip on the Chay River to see some mysterious dark caves and magnificent mountains. All remain pristine and boast poetic views and stillness.
