A biodiversity hotspot, Vu Quang’s remote location means that the forest is untouched and remains in pristine condition. Contained within the park are the rolling, picturesque Truong Son Mountains. Home to the endangered Indochinese Tiger, the amazing waterfalls that split off from Serepok River are a lovely sight to behold. Dating back over 400 million years, this ancient area is fascinating for its geological formations and within some of the caves, stalactites and stalagmites protrude out at various angles. Phong Nha-Ke Bang has over 300 caves as well as a number of mountains, waterways and different forests on offer.
