The works record beautiful scenes across all regions of the country, from Ban Gioc waterfall in Cao Bang, the pouring water season in Dong Thap to the marine rig.
Thac Ban Gioc's work by author Nguyen Tan Tuan (Ho Chi Minh City) won the first prize in the photo contest "Vietnam seen from above for the second time in 2019: Proud of the frontier". This is a photo contest with the content reflecting the beauty of the landscape in all regions of Vietnam through a view from above, which encourages photos to record frontier milestones.
Mr. Tuan, the author who won the first prize, said that the above photo was taken on December 1, 2018, when he and his colleagues made the journey of more than 2,000 km from Ho Chi Minh City to Cao Bang: "On the way, it was raining lightly, but when the group reached the waterfall, it gradually stopped raining, then it became beautiful. We seemed to break when looking at Ban Gioc waterfall in the picturesque pouring water season, striking among the four great thousands of green areas. Looking from above, each of the billowing cascades poured down and echoed the mountains and forests, white foam, magnificent. Ban Gioc deserves to be the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam ".
The photo won the second prize named "City Dawn" by Giang Son Dong (HCMC).
"Since Ho Chi Minh City has Landmark 81 building with a height of 461.3m, it has become a source of creative inspiration for photographers passionate about landscape shooting, especially with shooting angles from above. I am no exception. After working time, I usually spend early morning and evening time to this area to hunt photos. I usually take a picture of Saigon center and at most with Landmark 81, it should belong to all corners around the building, whether at dawn, dusk or night dew all be recorded. The winning photo was taken on the morning of June 19, 2019, a beautiful day, ”the author shared.
The photo of author Tran Quang Anh (Lam Dong) won the 3rd prize. The author recounted that in April - June, the period of 4 to 6 hours is ideal for hunting cloud, misty in Da Lat.
"One of the places I often photograph is the Dalat College of Pedagogy in the mist that passes through like a fairytale frame. When standing on the 4th floor of the school's tower, you can see the surface of Xuan Huong lake calm, the panorama of the center of the mountain town with the buildings hidden in the mist and enjoy the endless green stretch of Cu hill and windy pine hills, "said Quang Anh.
3rd prize is a picture of "Fansipan Fanciful" by author Tran Bao Hoa (Binh Dinh).
"I came to the mountains of Sa Pa, Lao Cai in the early days of January 2019 with the cold and cloudy weather covering the entire path. The spiritual cultural complex with Kim Son Bao Thang stupa fancied itself in At the end of the day, with the floating clouds made me feel like I touched my hands in the Buddha's realm, at this time, I was engrossed in composing images in the cold of about 2 degrees Celsius for an hour. Another work was awarded 3rd prize with the name "Wake up Midland" by author Nguyen Thi Hai Yen (Phu Tho), taken at Long Coc tea hill. Tea hills in Tan Son and Phu Tho districts are also called "Ha Long Bay in the midlands", with soft terrain on a large space. Long Coc is also considered one of the most beautiful tea hills in Vietnam.

In addition to the first prize, author Nguyen Tan Tuan also won the consolation prize with "Follow The Herd", taken in Tay Ninh.
The western landscape of the pouring water season is captured by Mai Thanh Chuong (Quang Nam) in Dong Thap.
The photo won the consolation prize by author Tran Bao Hoa named "Colors of Ta Pa", taken in Tri Ton district, An Giang province.
The work "Traffic flow" by author Ha Thanh Nga (Hanoi) taken at the DK1-14 rig area to receive the encouragement prize.
The competition was organized by Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association (HOPA) and Lich Xuan Phuong Nam. The contest attracted nearly 4,000 entries from 261 specialized and non-professional authors from 53 provinces and cities nationwide.
