On August 10, the 2019 Northwest Food Festival will officially open with many interesting activities, especially the dance show with the largest number of participants so far in Vietnam.
When the buckwheat began to dye purple mountains, artisans in the Northwest, village boys, girls and all the tourists back to Fansipan to celebrate the Northwest Food Festival. There, a very Northwestern life is recreated by indigenous people and Sun World Fansipan Legend resort re-present in the highland market, the station goes to Fansipan cable car.

Taking place throughout a month, until September 10, this is the third year the festival is organized by Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist resort, to preserve, promote and honor the traditional cultural values of the Northwest. This year's festival has a larger scale, with many new and unique activities and experiences.
Stepping through the gate was created by Khen of the highland people, the wine jars forced red cloth as a sign to invite tourists "drunk" with the Northwest.
Go to the festival, visitors like to explore "Northwestern miniature" with many attractive colors. Colorful dress, Khen, highland market is packed in the show every Friday and Saturday morning. Also in the countryside market area every Saturday and Sunday every week, from 9:30 to 11:30, the traditional Dao wedding will be recreated. Brides and grooms in radiant costumes, wedding trays and typical procedures of compatriots give visitors an unforgettable experience.
Enjoy the activities in ritual rituals, visitors are hand-pounding thick buns, making Com, making rice sticky ... and bringing their footsteps into the music. Then from here, a journey to discover unique Northwest cuisine opens, conquering even the fastidious diners.

The native people are rustic, leisurely making wine in highland style. Thanh Kim paddy wine, Sa Pa corn wine, Tao Meo wine, Ta Van red plum wine, Sim Dan wine ... to all kinds of medicinal wines such as artichoke, bear bile roots, Ngoc Cau ... meticulously prepared for receptions by visitors.
Coming to the Northwest Food Festival, every year, tourists will be able to discover hundreds of special dishes cooked by the people themselves. This year, along with sausages, rice sticky, smoke buffalo, etc... the giant Thang Co pan will be cooked by chefs in the highland market area, promises to be a worthwhile experience when coming to Sa Pa on this occasion.
The festival also attracts visitors to the true Northwest life. A series of jubilant folk games such as pushing sticks, walking a rope, Sap dance, walking on stilts ... makes the participants happy not wanting to go home and receive attractive gifts right at the event.

Also at the opening ceremony, Sun World Fansipan Legend will bring surprises when establishing a Vietnam record with a Sap dance performance with the largest number of participants so far: more than 10,000 people participated Sap dance. Sap dance not only makes the scene happy, bustling but also stir the atmosphere of the festival, bringing exciting experience in the "city on the cloud".
Not only the culinary festival and the special cultural and entertainment activities, Sun World Fansipan Legend also offers visitors a show of scale and unique art "dance on the cloud". Along with that, Sun World Fansipan Legend is also a meaningful destination in Vu Lan festival. Northwestern sacred peak has long been famous for its spiritual architectural complex with many spectacular works, especially, the highest statue of Amitabha Buddha in Vietnam, a place for keeping sacred Buddha relics. This place is considered by many Buddhists as points to come many times in life, to feel the place of meditation, peace between immense Buddha realms.
