Nearly 60 international and domestic athletes have come to Da Nang to compete in paragliding.

Parachute "Fly on Tien Sa 2018" has just ended in Da Nang. Taking place in two days, the tournament attracted nearly 60 domestic and international paragliders to attend. The point originates from a height of 600 m at the top of Son Tra peninsula. Taking advantage of the favorable wind direction, the pilot will run the momentum and drop into the air.
This year, the tournament featured the participation of famous Nepalese pilots. Babu, the first to fly from Mount Everest, and a group of paragliding teachers from Japan. There are also teams from Laos, Thailand, Korea, England and Germany.
Pilots fly over Linh Ung Pagoda (Son Tra), performing on Son Tra rock. The dense forest, blue sea, white sand inspired the pilots to compete.
In 2017, in Da Nang also took place "Flight on Tien Sa", attracting 100 pilots to participate. This year, the Department of Culture and Sports has authorized Da Nang Paragliding Club to take professional responsibility for organizing the tournament.
Athletes scored points in cm, from the first touch point of the body within the disc at the center to the farthest point of 5 meters. The scoring area is marked by circles of 2.5 m and 5 m.
In addition to flying, pilots also perform double-fly missions to facilitate the thrill experience.
