Set at the foot of Da Nang’s Marble Mountains, the village dates back to the late 18th century and was founded by Huynh Ba Quat, a craftsman from Thanh Hoa Province.
The ancient village is also recognised as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage due to its cultural significance to Da Nang, where thousands of talented sculptors and craftsmen produce a wide range of statues, household items, and accessories using stones found within the mountain.
Many local residents make their way to this craft village to purchase rice mortars, grain grinders, and tombstones while tourists can find an array of handcrafted jewellery made from precious stones, including rings, necklaces, pendants, and bracelets.
