Telegraph's travel site has selected 15 less-known venues, but should really visit.

Situated in the northern part of the state of Sarawak, Gunung Mulu National Park is home to one of the most beautiful cave systems in the world. The Deer Cave (pictured) has enough space for a Boeing 747. The main resident of this cave is the crested bat.

About 90 km from Hanoi, Ninh Binh is famous for Tam Coc - Bich Dong landscape, as Halong Bay on land. There are cliffs and caves with beautiful scenery along the Ngo Dong River.

3. Naoshima, Japan

One of the hidden secrets of Japan is the island of Naoshima located south of the Honshu Islands. The place is famous for its artwork, including giant pumpkins with polka dot motifs. Chichu Art Museum displays artwork by renowned painter Claude Monet.

This impressive building was built in the town of Shigaraki near Kyoto. It features Western and Asian collections by Mihoko Koyama. The architecture of the museum is also attractive to visitors. Approximately three-fourths of the building's area is in cliffs and large glass walls allow you to admire the natural landscape outside.

Australia is famous for the Sydney Opera House, Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef, but the Kimberley area is equally attractive. With an area 3 times the size of England, Kimberley has many beautiful surreal scenery such as sandstone structure, calm river or Purnululu National Park.

The Black Canyon Canyon in Gunnison National Park in Colorado is like a miniature version of the Grand Canyon. It is famous for its gray cliffs over 820m along the Gunnison River. At the narrowest point, the sunlight can only project to the bottom at noon.

Located in the Chihuahuan Desert about 90 km from the border with Mexico, the town of Marfa was revitalized in the 1980s by celebrity artist Donald Judd. He created a series of statues and art installations as well as built the Chinati Foundation Art Museum, transforming the town into a unique cultural center.

Nebraska is not the leading tourist destination in the United States. But this place is attractive to visitors thanks to the huge 240m high rock that appears between the flat prairies. You can climb the Scotts Bluff National Monument on the top of the cliff and admire the beautiful scenery surrounding, including the North Platte River.

South America has been given many beautiful scenery. In Guyana, the Rupununi region impresses with the Kaieteur falls close to the Brazilian border. In addition, visitors can explore the floodplain ecosystems and giant water lilies on the Rupununi River.

10. Archaeological Park of San Agustin, Colombia

The archaeological site of San Agustin in southern Colombia was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. The site contains many tombs dating back to 2,000 years. But the people buried under the tombs are still mysterious. They are believed to belong to a civilization without the Andean name.

Dominica is still a land of mystery for many visitors. Caribbean country is famous for its many beautiful beaches in Punta Cana and Los Haitises National Park. You can only access this nature reserve by boat and have a tour guide. The place has many limestone structures and swamps.

12. Ibo Island, Mozambique

15. Church of Mal's, Morocco

Situated on the High Atlas Mountains in southern Morocco, Tin Mal church was built in 1156 to commemorate the founder of the Almohad dynasty. It is one of two mosques that the pagans can enter.
