Day 1: Hanoi - Yen Bai City - Nghia Lo


7am: The guide will pick-up you at hotel. Start journey to Nghia Lo, Yen Bai. Enjoy stunning landscapes along the way. Enjoy stunning views of countryside and nature, visit local villages, experience daily life of hill tribe people. Arrive at Nghia Lo town early in the afternoon, check in homestay at a peaceful village near by Nghia Lo. Lunch and rest on a traditional stilt house. In the afternoon, you will embark on a trekking tour to discover the daily life of the ethnic community in the area and enjoy the beautiful scenery of villages, rice fileds an mountains. the end a day, you will rest at homestay in Nghia Lo.

Day 2: Nghia Lo - Tu Le - Mu Cang Chai - trekking around villages.


You will be surprise before the wonderful rice terrace belong the route from Nghia Lo - Tu Le - Mu Cang Chai. Run over the Khau Pha pass (one of the four greatest passes in Northern Vietnam with  40km many fog in the cold days). The ride is on some of the most scenic roads which offer a lot of stops for picturing. we'll cross Tu Le and Mu Cang Chai, the two remote lands of Yen Bai province where the black H'mong, Dzao and Thai people can make wonderful rice terrace on the mountains. Enjoy trekking tours around La Pan Tan commune, visit Trong Tong village, explore the life & musical of Mong people. Leave Trong Tong, continue trekking from La Pan Tan villages to enjoy Mam Xoi rice terrace of H'mong people in Mu cang Chai. Picnic lunch is served along trekking path. Visit some school and touch with chidren. Beside the rice terrace, you will have a chance to explore the culture & local life of Mong people, such as music traditional, agriculture tolls,... Accommodation: homestay in Mu Cang Chai

Day 3: Mu Cang Chai - Than Uyen - Sapa. 


Morning: have breakfast and continue trekking a half day to explore more the ethnic village around Mu Cang Chai. Afternoon: the car will drive you to Sapa, pass over O Quy Ho pass, one of the four greatest passes in Vietnam where you can enjoy fresh and cool air and nice landscapes. ... It will be unforgettable experience. Accommodation: Hotel in Sapaa town. 

Day 4: Lao Chai and Ta Van villages - homestay. 


09h00: after breakfast, you start trekking down to Lao Chai village of Black H'mong athnic people. Here you will discover theri daily life and how they make traditional clothes, handicraft, indigo,... You will visit the biggest valley which provides the best view for golden rice terraced fields in Vietnam. After Lao Chai you walk to Ta Van village of Dzay people. It is a small group of ethnic people in Vietnam with a rich culture and beautiful houses located on rice paddy fields. 

Lao chai & Ta Van villages, about 8 km from Sapa town, where black H'mong and Dzay people are living, it is also the beginning of the valley which is called Muong Hoa. From a high point of the main road, great  view of the whole villages open wide to offer the marvelous panorama views, backed by high mountains and facing the river. Here you will enjoy the fresh air, see terraced fields and stream, discover and visit some of Black H'mong families. You will have a welcome feeling at any house of the hospitable people there. You can interact them, learn about their culture customs... 

12h00: Have lunch along Muong Hoa river in Lao Chai village, you will continue along the bottom of the valley to get to Dzay tribe village of Ta Van to experience their way of life while staying in a local family's cottage. Accommodation: Hoestay in Ta Van village. 

Day 5: Giang Ta Chai village - Sapa - Hanoi. 


After breakfast, you continue to visit Red Dzao people at Giang Ta Chai village where we also see a waterfall. The Red Dzao woman have very colorful red embroidery and coins on their clothing. On their head they wear a red scarf. Some of them have shaved off their eyebrows because of a nice Red Dzao Legend. 

You will walk to the rice paddy fields where you'll have a nice photo session of the amazing surrounding landscapes. A trek through the bamboo forest soon follows which givers you the experience of Vietnam tropical jungle. Along the way, we will stop by a waterfall to have a panorama view of Giang Ta Chai villages. Then walk to the main road to take a bus back to Sapa and have lunch. 

14h00: It's time to say "goodbye Sapa!" and drive back to Hanoi. Along the way, once again you have a chance to enjoy the magical beauty of the Northwest mountains, 19h30: You arrive in Hanoi capital.
