Lac village is located in Mai Chau valley, Hoa Binh Province with unique traditions. Mai Chau village is far about 150 kilometers from Hanoi; visitors take about 4 hours to travel by car. Lac Village is the ideal mountain refuge for a full immersion into the secluded life of Mai Chau’s ethnic Thai people. 

Lac village has 5 Thai ethnic: Ha, Lo, Mac, and Loc. According to the head of Lac village - Ha Cong Tim, Lac village has over 700 years old. Visit this village for beautiful handicrafts, from hand-woven scarves and brocade dresses to carefully tailored wallets. You can also feast on local dishes, such as fragrant bamboo cooked rice, and lose yourself in the daily life of the village.

Visiting Lac Village, tourists will have a chance to stay on stilt houses to enjoy the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of the village, tasting numerous ethnic minorities' specialties, such as sticky rice cooked in bamboo cylinders, bitter bamboo shoots, famous Can wine (wine drunk out of a jar through pipes) and more.
