Centre for Culture, Sports, Radio, and Television of Hoi An has announced an array of interesting programs set to be on offer during the traditional “Nguyen Tieu” (first full moon) festival to attract tourists.

During the special occasion, Hoi An city plans to host a wide range of activities including ancient town night, poetry night, and ritual ceremonies at Chua Ong and Chua Cau pagodas as well as in the temples of Son Phong and Minh Huong Tuy Tien Duong.
In addition, other spiritual and community-based activities will be held at different places across the ancient town of Hoi An.
This year, to ensure the security of residents and visitors during the Nguyen Tieu festival, Hoi An city plans to expand the length of time at pedestrian streets from 6:30pm to 9:30pm on February 18 and from 3pm to 4:30pm on February 20.
The city will also expand the time for folk games from 8am to 11am and from 3pm to 9pm on February 20 to serve the public.
