2017 Tu Lan Adventure Race to be organized in late March

The 2017 Tu Lan Adventure Race will be organized from March 31st to April 3rd on Rao Nan river and in Tu Lan cave in Tan Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district, central coastal province of Quang Binh.

The program is co-organized by Quang Binh Department of Tourism, Jetstar Pacific, Oxalis Company and other sponsors. This is a unique adventure race with a combination of many incredible outdoor activities, such as racing along untamed rivers in a traditional Doc Moc boat, jungle trekking, climbing up and down hills, squeezing through tight cave passages, and swimming in underground rivers.

The race will be attended by 10 teams with 100 people at cost of VND7 million per person.

It is a special event among a series of activities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of establishing the diplomatic ties between the Republic of Korea and Vietnam, creating a new playground for those who love challenges and exploring, love to join nature conservation activities, and want to provide community support.

The event is expected to contribute to promoting Quang Binh’s tourism, adventure services to both domestic and foreign tourists.

A part of all tickets will go towards the construction of floating houses, which will help poor households in Tan Hoa commune immensely during the flooding season.
