Strolling and shopping at night markets has become favorite of many tourists when coming to Nha Trang now.

Night markets in Nha Trang often open at 5pm. From 7pm, the night markets are crowded with shoppers. Tourists can buy fine handicrafts aricles and specialities of Khanh Hoa like salangane nests, aloe wood, dried seafood, etc. Not only shopping, visitors can enjoy many kinds of food there.
Khanh Chi, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said, “Coming to the night market, I like to go shopping in the cool atmosphere of night markets. Sellers are also polite. They don’t solicit buyers. Beside, the securities at night markets make us feel secure when shopping.”
Peter, a British tourist, showed his satisfaction, “I like walking in the walking street for sight-seeing. People here are very friendly. They are doing not only their business but also marketing for the local tourism.”
According to Dang Hoang Bich Tram, deputy director of Nha Trang Walking Street, confirmed “Nha Trang Walking Street has become a famous and favorite destination of tourists when coming to Nha Trang. Therefore, we always keep our trademark with many measures such as keeping order and security for visitors and food safety. Sellers have committed to sell products at posted prices, not to sting or solicit buyers and not to sell forbidden goods. We check booths everyday and stopping violators from selling.”
Reportedly, all sellers have to register models, kinds and prices of all products they sell. The provincial market administrator often checks the booth to prevent counterfeit products and bad-quality products.
