More 800 flights of Vietjet Air enhanced for Tet holiday

With tickets on many routes having been sold out, Vietjet will operate 800 more flights than the airline’s initial plan during the peak time of the Tet holiday from January 20 to February 20, 2016.
The addition, which will raise the total number of tickets for the holiday season to 150,000, is expected to offer passengers more choices at low cost for their travel plans.

Vietjet will increase the frequency of high-demand routes, such as Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi to 30 round trips per day, Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang to 13 round trips per day, Ho Chi Minh City – Hai Phong to seven round trips per day, Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh to six round trips per day, Ho Chi Minh City – Thanh Hoa to four round trips per day, Ho Chi Minh City – Quy Nhon to three round trips per day, Ho Chi Minh City – Pleiku to two round trips per day, Ho Chi Minh City – Phu Quoc to four round trips per day, Ho Chi Minh City – Nha Trang to four round trips per day and Ho Chi Minh City - Da Lat two round trips per day.

On this occasion, Vietjet will launch new routes. The Pleiku – Hai Phong route whose debut flight is on January 15, 2016 is operated with a frequency of four return flights per week; Pleiku – Vinh whose debut flight is on January 16 is operated with a frequency of three return flights per week and Ho Chi Minh City – Tuy Hoa whose debut flight is on January 20 is operated on a daily frequency.

Payment can be easily made with Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, and ATM cards issued by 24 Vietnam banks that have been registered with internet banking.


It is strongly recommended that passengers be at the check – in counters before the departure time at least two hours for domestic flights and three hours for international flights. It is regulated for all passengers to show their valid travel documents for check – in and boarding procedures. Moreover, any confusions between lunar calendar and solar calendar should be avoided.
