At night the city comes alive with lanterns lighting up the sky above the now pedestrian only roads, the crowds gathering on the streets to enjoy a cold drink and freshly made meal,” Hostels Worldwide wrote.

In addition, Hostels Worldwide expects also picked Vietnamese Women’s Museum is one of the best destination you should know.

There are a multitude of museums in Hanoi, but the Women’s Museum is unique. The museum is well organized, informative and of world class standard and is run by the Women’s Union of Vietnam, one of Vietnams’ most powerful social, political and cultural institutions.

The number of foreign tourists to Hanoi is estimated at 2.44 million in the first seven months of 2018, a year-on-year rise of 20.5%, according to the Hanoi Department of Tourism. The number of tourists from most of the Asian markets saw growth in the period, including Taiwan (China) up 52.9%, China (up 33.7%), Malaysia (up 31.8%), and Singapore (up 21.8%).

In 2018, Hanoi expects to serve more than 25.4 million visitors, including 5.5 million foreigners, and gross some VND75.78 trillion (US$3.33 billion) in revenue.
