As part of Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF), the Street Festival every Friday from 5/5 to 23/6/2017 (8 weeks) will cover the main streets of the city. Especially, 09 flower cars with the traditional decorations of 08 participating nations in DIFF 2017 and 01 representing Danang city play key point in the street festival. On each car there will be international and Vietnamese artists, greeting the audiences at different stops. These cars will start from Asia Park with 9 different routes, each stop will be 10 to 15 minutes.
Depart from Sun World Danang Wonders park, nearly 150 artists equipped with costume, performance tool and 9 flower cars will stroll along centre’s roads of Danang – creating an mysterious but vivid atmosphere in official inauguration night of the festival. United Kingdom cars consist 4 unique icons: Elizabeth time tower (Big ben tower), London bridge, 2-storey bus and Thames River. Japan’s cars bring 2 most famous symbols of cherry flower and Torri gate… Another symbolic such as the Great Wall of China’s flower cars are prepared carefully in ideal and decoration.
Flower cars’ route starts from Sun World Danang Wonders Park, in front of Five-element Cuisine Space, then roll along streets with the 12 stop points: 2/9 Statue, 2/9 Road, Crossroad of 2/9 road and Han River; Park along Bach Dang road, Park along Bach Dang river; Park to the north of Han river, conjunction of Tran Hung Dao road and Nguyen Cong Tru road, Love bridge… In each flower car there will be small stage for artistic performance. At each stop point, the artists will get off and get closer to audience with impressive random dances.
Sharing after the rehearsal, Mr Cavesto Reedux – a Russia artist taking part in the show said: “It would be amazing in the official inauguration night. We will be involved in cheerful atmosphere with local residents. Our desire is to break space between audience and foreign travelers. All of them will dance, sing together, making a great atmosphere.” Beside performance of international artists, Vietnamese ones also deliver traditional “soul food” such as lion-dances, Vietnamese song to foreign visitors.

Danang in their eyes, is not only a Vietnam’s city but an international corner full of attractiveness and hospitality”, said Mr Le Quy Duong – Chief director of the festival.
