Zipline – A New Adventure Tourism Service In Vietnam

Zipline is used as a transport in some mountainous countries. Nowadays, it becomes a means of entertainment. It consists of a pulley suspended on a cable, which is usually made of stainless steel, mounted on a slope. The zipline was very popular for many years in over the world. However, it appears only in recent years in Vietnam.

We will introduce some popular sites for adventurers who would like to experience this new service of entertainment in Vietnam.

1. Hoa Phu Thanh tourist area in Danang

The zipline was appeared in this tourist area in recent years in Danang. With a safe route, but quiet short, this place is an ideal site for those who try it at the first time. It costs 50.000 VND/per.

2. Alba Thanh Tân tourist area in Hue

This is a resort well-known as a tourist destination for recovery and health care basing on the advantage of the hot mineral springs. However, the zipline which was opened in 2014, attracted a number of tourists by its longest route in Asia. Originated from Ma Yen mountain, the zipline will show the imposing scenery to adventurers over immense forests. Its price is 80.000VND/per.

3. Hồ Mây in Vung Tau

According to specialists, the zipline in Ho May Tourist area is most adventurious in Vietnam. With 200m length, 500m high over the sea level, travellers have an occasion to admire whole view of nature over the turquoise water. A tour package costs 300.000VND/adult, 150.000VND/child.

4. Madagui Forest In Dalat

With a wild and pristine atmosphere in Madagui park, visitors will be excited as crossing over streams, lakes, etc. A tour package is around 240.000VND to 390.000VND for tourists to take part in other activities in Madagui.

5. Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in Quang Binh province

Located approximately 500km south of Ha Noi, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park is a famous destination in central Vietnam and was recognised by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site. Nowadays, visitors to Phong Nha-Ke Bang have chances to take to the skies with zipline. Running from Chay River to Toi (Dark) Cave, the modern cable line allows tourists to glide into the cave or plunge into the river.

For these games, you must wear the safety outfit, including: lanyard, carabiner, pulley and rope.
