Travelling in Vietnam's southwestern region during Tet holidays

Tra Su cajuput forest, Sam Mountain, and Tram Chim National Park to name a few, are beautiful travel destinations in the western region of Vietnam for travellers during the Lunar New Year festival (Tet).

Tra Su cajuput forest covering about 850 hectares in the south-western An Giang province charms tourists with its abundant flora and fauna. 

Sam Mountain in Chau Doc, An Giang province is ideal for pilgrims. 

Cai Be floating market in Tien Giang province. 

Tram Chim National Park in Dong Thap province attracts visitors to its precious bird species.

Tan Lap floating village in Moc Hoa District, Long An Province is also known for its large cajuput forests. 

Cai Rang floating market in Can Tho city gathers up to 400 boats selling and buying goods everyday. 

Ninh Kieu wharf in Can Tho city. Visitors may take a night cruise tour along Hau and Can Tho rivers and enjoy traditional dishes and art performances.

Long, Lan, Quy, Phung islands in Ben Tre province represent 4 noble animals, the Dragon, the Qilin, the Turtle and the Phoenix 

U Minh Thuong National Park in Kien Giang province is widely considered the richest region of the Mekong delta in terms of plant and animal biodiversity.
